Trans Pride Ventura is an effort by The Transverse, a local transgender community support organization with global reach, to bring together the transgender community of Ventura County.

For the past two years The Transverse has lead the Transgender Day of Remembrance event and since October of 2022, has lead the Trans Peer Group bringing trans folks together to find friends and support. Now, for 2024 we will be hosting the first Transgender Pride event in Ventura County, encompassing Transgender Day of Visibility.

The vision for Trans Pride Ventura is to create a closely knit community and connection for all of the various trans groups, individuals, and resources available.

The Transverse is led by President and founder Emily Kailyn.
